B&B with 5 gites (ready-to-move-in): work for 6 months, holiday for 6 months!

Yes, we only work 6 months a year and earn a full income for two people. It is possible to work longer and harder, because the tourist season here in the Dordogne Valley in the Lot (Occitanie) runs from Easter to 11 November, but we choose to close the books at the end of September. Simply because we don't have the ambition to squeeze every last drop out of it. We also take it easy when it comes to our table d'hôtes: we love cooking and welcoming guests, but in the summer months we prefer to send them to local restaurants. We can afford to do this because the rooms and gîtes are doing well. Come and visit us, and we will be happy to share our turnover with you.

Our 8,500 m² estate is located in the middle of green hills, but only 4 km from the centre of Souillac. In short: the best of both worlds: total peace and quiet, but close to a town with supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, DIY stores, restaurants, cafés and – not unimportant for accessibility – an exit on the A20 motorway. Souillac is the perfect base for visiting all the highlights of the Dordogne Valley (castles, caves, “Plus Beaux Villages”, gardens, amusement parks, etc.). The region is very well developed for tourism (see (please use the form to respond ) are three buildings on our estate:

- Our house, with three guest rooms on the first floor, one of which is a family room for 4 or 5 people. Each room has its own tastefully decorated bathroom.

- The gîte building has two studios of 46 m² each on the side of the courtyard garden and three large gîtes for 4/5 people on the side of the swimming pool (12 x 6).

- A handy, very large barn (188 m²) spread over two floors, which serves as storage space and bicycle shed, but where we have also held workshops.
