Nice from the outside, an authentic little house, not too big. Estimated to be from between 1900 and 1930, judging by the window frames. Inside, it looks quite modernised, so authentic details like the old chimney may no longer be present. The small round window (the so-called "oeil de bœuf") and the old drain to the outside suggest an old (often stone) sink. It’s not clear if that is still there. There is a modern kitchen, a pellet stove (personally, I prefer to burn wood), and the interior has a clean finish. New double-glazed windows and door. You can move in right away. The roof on the house seems to be in reasonable condition (always check for yourself). From the ridge tiles (on the edges), you can see that it’s not the original, but a newer roof. It seems that the gutter is made of plastic and just drains into the garden. You could put a barrel underneath, but it’s better to have the rainwater properly drained into the sewer system. Whether that exists is not entirely clear. I think the village has a sewer system, but it’s best to check (and ask the real estate agent for some extra photos). Nice large garden and an extra shed. Village with all amenities. The price may still be negotiable, but I don’t think by much.
