The main house has five bedrooms and two bathrooms, a study, living room, dining room, and a kitchen that still has the original marble floor and curved-wood fitted corner cupboard. In fact the house is full of its original features, the doors and door handles, the windows and shutters, the marble fireplaces - the one in the dining room is particularly ornate, and the antique bathroom has opal stone bath surrounds and washbasins - even the taps are made of opal.. you’ll see them in the video. One characteristic I particularly like about this house, is that all of the main rooms have windows on two sides - that's the living and dining rooms, the study, and all three of the bedrooms on the first floor. So the house feels nice and bright, despite being an old building. It is heated by a heat-pump to the radiators, mains drains, fibre. The garden has many mature trees, a stone wall runs along it with an outbuilding at the end.
