In days long gone this house - La Fouette - was the place shepherds with their flocks, merchants and travellers would stop for a convivial night at “L’Auberge de La Fouette”.
No longer an auberge we found it in 1990 and have loved it ever since – as Brits who have enjoyed the Ardeche for 40 years.
The energy to transform the house has been driven by the welcome we have received from our local village, Montselgues, and from getting to know the mountains that surround us.
We have lived here for many months each year and invested time and money in making La Fouette our own.
So for 35 years we have been happy here with our family and many friends. But now is the time to hand La Fouette on for another family to cherish and develop in their own way.
